Breda

In 2017, the municipality of Breda added its first hydrogen-prepared garbage truck from E-Trucks Europe to its fleet of waste collection vehicles. Breda’s ambition is to operate its entire fleet as sustainably as possible.

The garbage truck currently operates completely electrically, but is already prepared to be expanded to a hydrogen hybrid garbage truck. For this, a hydrogen filling station must first be realized in the surrounding area of Breda. Breda is working hard on this, together with the province, business community and WaterstofNet.

By using hydrogen hybrid vehicles (and other sustainable vehicles) Breda makes an enormous contribution to the CO2-reduction. In addition, it is very nice for both driver and the inhabitants of Breda to have silent, emission free cars.
